American War Mothers' Memorial
October 25, 1930, a stone memorial was placed on the Mizzou campus by the American War Mothers, honoring the 117 MU students who were killed in The Great War. After years in storage, this monument has been placed in a prominent spot, just east of Memorial Student Union.
On Veterans' Day, November 11, 2011, a ceremony was held to rededicate this memorial.
